  Spotify Usability Heuristics #1: Visibility of system status Usability Rating: 2 Informs the user what action has been taken and the status of it.  Spotify will notify the user when a song has been added to the queue. However, there are some status such as song removal that it will not notify the user. This is a minor problem since it can cause confusion if the user is unsure if a song or the right one has been removed especially for a larger playlist. #2: Match between system and the real world Usability Rating: 0 Terminology that is common to the average person and is relevant.  The term Library used on Spotify will direct the user to their music collection- just as a library is a place with collection of books. User Experience Basics Optimal user experience (UX) is formed by understanding the user's demand and creating an environment that is appealing and easily usable. Below is a User Experience Honeycomb  by Peter Moville to described the factors that would build user's satisfaction. While the process of usability should be simple for the user, the process of creating an effective UX is more complex since the overall production of the UX should also be reflective of the company's image and its presentation to customers.    Methods The process of creating an effective UX requires a comprehensive goal. This process starts by gathering a team to brainstorm the project's plan along with allocating responsibilities.
